Here's the situation. Currently have a 36" Sharp Tube TV and I'm wanting to upgrade to an HDTV. I'm thinking around 42" and I sit about 10-13' away from the screen. It'll mainly be used for gaming (Xbox360), watching standard def movies or HD ones of the new Netflix streaming on the Xbox. Budget...
to me, it's one of the little things that makes Rock Band more fun: the ability keep gaining overdrive while in overdrive. it just makes sense.
And I'm waiting for Bon Jovi's Living on a Prayer.
Interesting that they're adding things that Halo3 has had since day 1 (host Migration and Quick Mute). Not to try and say Halo3 is a better game, but it does seem more user friendly from this aspect of things.
I got Guitar Hero 3 with the wireless guitar for Christmas and bought Rock Band standalone to play on it. I've mainly been playing Rock Band, but that's neither here nor there.
I've run into an issue where when I'm holding notes and hit the whammy bar, it deactivates the held keys. I've...
You know, honestly for me, 2008 isn't shaping out to have as many "MUST HAVE" games as 2007 did. Which is honestly just fine with me, because I've got too many to play as it is.
I got both. Given GH3 as a gift, bought RB standalone, both for 360. I haven't played GH3 yet, but I've used the GH3 guitar to beat RB on medium lead guitar. I thought RB had a better set list than GH3, but I'll play GH3 next week.
I honestly wouldn't have gotten it if I didn't have GH2 or my wife didn't get me GH3 (on 360), but I've got 2 guitars and bought a logitech mic for 30 bucks and got the standalone game. It's honestly a great game and I like the set list and DLC quite a bit more than GH3.
My goal right now is...
All for the 360
- COD4
- Rock Band standalone
Both with gift money and cards.
- Mass Effect
- Guitar Hero3 with wireless guitar
- Ratatouille from my 6 year old
The only one I've played so far is Rock Band with the GH3 guitar. I love it. Great set list, especially the ability to get...
Man, I'm torn. I've got 1500 points burning a hole that I haven't spent in the two months I've had them. Maybe I'll wait to see what I get for Christmas and decide then.
I don't think the shotguns are overpowered because you have to be so close to get a good shot. In fact, I rarely kill someone with a shotgun blast. Typically, I have to do the blast, plus a melee attack.
After I installed WMP11, I tried the sharing but my 360 wouldn't show up on the available devices. It's hooked into my network with a wireless adapter (official) and the computer is wired directly into my router. Am I missing a toggle or something somewhere?
