I couldn't boot up on the second PC and got a Missing or Corrupt vgaoem.fon message. I did a recovery and typed in the expand e:\i386\vgaoem.fo_ c:\windows\system where e: is the cd-rom but instead of getting vgaoem.fo_ 1 file(s) expanded, I get Access is denied. Tried to do a directory of...

Optorite 4x DVD±RW for $120 shipped

Had the same problem. DVD X Copy didn't recognize the drive. Had a virtual drive from WinDVD (even though I had a DVD Rom), once I deleted the virtual drive, the Optorite tooks its place and DVD X Copy worked. Go figure... and yeah, I updated to 2.17 firmware, too.

Oh no, my pc begins to freeze randomly

I just switched to a Microsoft Optical Mouse Blue and so far no freezes. I really have the feeling that it was the cordless mouse. Of course, now that I said that, I will probably freeze up later...LOL

I am having the same problem. No virus, memory is fine, power supply was replaced, went to Standard PC and put NIC, Sound, etc all on separate IRQs, reinstalled Windows XP Pro and still get freeze. Only piece of equipment that was NOT replaced was a "cordless Logitech optical mouse". But that...

Yeah that is probably correct but since they went with hourly only and not salary, the kids they have working there sometimes don't care and you might get the extra ten dollars. And where I live the CC is next door to staples and I have had them price match before at this location. But $64.94...
