buy both and hack them. then you will save a ton of cash on games. i have 250 ps2 games and 153 xbox games. only had to pay for the cdr and dvdrs they are burned on.

I saw some guy on Ebay selling the shield and driver cd for $11 plus shipping. may not be a bad deal to get the refurb and shield from ebay...
there is a new ps2 coming out soon. it will come with the dvd remote and netwrok adapter.
the laser is suppose to be stronger as well. they are suppose to be making it so it will read dvdrs. alot of people are putting home movies on dvdr now. this will be better for the hackers as well.
