    I believe the camera is always recording. It records up to a certain time (3-4 days?) and then continues to overwrite the oldest time. There's also an option to save an "event" so that it wouldn't get overwritten after the time limit.

    SURE, if it's used as a safety feature. I would love to have a system that is capable of steering the car to avoid an accident in an emergency situation. Humans can't control everything manually as effective as a computer (ABS for example).
