About RAID questions

If I run RAID 10 on X58+ICH10R, is it safe to hot swap the drives if one of the drive fails? If one of the drives fail, how will I know which one? How will the rebuild of the RAID be done? Will it be done in the BIOS or in the Windows, offline or online mode? Thanks!

so a raid 0 500GB is faster than Raptor? Also, i will need it on for 24/7 running at least 2 VM. There 3 more workstation will be serving as front server and 2 workstation serve as 2 back server.

I need to have it on 24/7 and have good IOPS. What drive is better? Raptor, or 7.2k drives? Don't have that much money for SSD. Need at least about 120G for each system.

i still don't really understand. Right now, there is a wireless g router on third floor. The mbps reading on the wireless g notebook is 11-12. If I change to wireless N router with wireless N notebook, will the signal strength increase? As I said before, it's concrete with steel...

I doubt it would be 4870 because lack of bandwidth. If only using core clock, it's probably need more than 1ghz core clock

Asus T2PE1 desktop

This Asus desktop is causing major trouble. Just last night it went blue screen on me. I change the hard drive and install fresh WinXP. It works now but it can not read the SATA drive no matter how I configure in the BIOS. Even more frustrating thing is that I can not find the all the drivers...

I am thinking of buying a video card for about $60 for my AMD 780G system. 1. 2400XT $40 2. X1650GT $42 3. 2600XT GDDR4 $67 If I buy 2400XT, I sure will use Hybrid Crossfire. But the thing is that I don't know the performance against the other two. Anyone can give me a suggestion? Thanks
