    My Bios is updated, the Molex is plugged in to the right connector... It reads about 1800rpm in my BIOS setup (but is in red text) and will pull up a BIOS error after POST. "press F1 to enter Setup" Oh, and I have an 80mm Panaflow fan on a Thermaltake SKL900 Heatsink.

    I have the same problem on my Asus K8Vse... I get a CPU fan error. I check the BIOS and it is running @ about 1700-1800rpm's. So, I just disabled the fan monitor in the BIOS.... No more problems :)
