Xeon Vs. Pentium 4

Any comparison on their capabilities? My boss wants to buy some .NET development machines. He is unsure if he should go for Xeon 3.2 Ghz 533 Mhz bus speed or P4 3.2 Ghz 800Mhz FSB. Any thoughts? Kumarakn

I am using a IS7. I use 2 strips of 512 MB PC 2700 mb ram. My friend gave me a PC2100 256 mb ram. Will I get a better performance using that extra 256 MB strip or will the PC2100 strip degrade the overall performance (as my original ones are PC2700). Thanks for your answers! kumarakn

Anybody having problems with microphones on IS7? I hear a huge humming noise in the background if I record anything using any program or any make of microphone. Anybody else having similar problems? Any suggestions?

Newbie Here! Please help! Question: Just bought the IS-7 Mother Board. (It is on its way). This MB specification says that it can take upto 4 gig of PC2100/2700/3200 RAM. I also bought the P4 3.06 @ 533Mhz FSB. I just came across a website which says, if use a 533 FSB cpu on this motherboard...
