I just picked up a T68i (free) and was thinking about getting a Headset for it. I was leaning towards the HBH-30.

Let me ask you guys this. What about DirectX9 support? All the new games will be based on this? The old 9700 won't support this right, but could it be flashed or is it part of the hardware?
Yeah, I am worry about this. The thing is that this will be long term (e.g. 2 to 3 years or at least until my next computer). But according to the review the 9700 clear beats out the 9600 Pro is everything.
