Did a search and didnt find anything I just installed Mandrake on my laptop and wanted to stick RC5 on it too.Im fairly new to linux so I was wondering if their was an FAQ or if someone could help me set it up?

Ok well the 39160 card is a dual channel card The HD is all alone on its own channel On the other channel I have a PLextor40 Max and a Yamaha BurnerI tried HDtach and got readins as low as 5.7 and as high as 7ms Still seems kinda slow Does NTFS slow it down at all?

Need advice on Fans,filters and Airflow

Ok I have the Addtronics W8500 I have all the spots for fans filled Thats 3 92s in front + 1 80 1 80 on the side and 4 80s blowing out the back.The thing im curious about is if anyone uses filters on their fans? The case itself has a filter but it restricts airflow alot even when clean.I want...

Well Ive got a Addtronics W8500 with all the fans I turned the 2nd fan around and it also dropped a couple degrees;) Either way Im happy;)

OK I have 2 PIII 800 both running at 912mhz Ive got Alpha Pal35Ts on em with Artic silver My temps normally stayRight around 100F running Seti 24/7 Sometimes during the day when its warm in the house it gets as high as 114-115 When they sit idle without seti running they run about 95 or less...

Aight I think Ive gotten almost eerything taken care of Got 2 clients running Fixed some of the performance by messing with 4way memory Interleaving on muh MSI 694d Pro But Id still like to rum both as a service so i dont ever see em';) Thanks everyone for all of the help;))

Well yes getting it to run as a service Ive read just about eery FAQ on how to do it and no matter what it doesnt seem to work all that starts when I start the seti service is SRVANY.exe

Ok I just installed it the other day and have noticed something.I have it running on my computer w Duel PIII800s running at 912mhz each 512megs of ram.It takes about 7 hours on average to complete a Wu Just seemed kind of slow to me.Im runnig the newest Version of the client.Just wondering if...

Question On Memory

Ok I bought 2 256meg sticks of Kingmax PC133 CAS2 ram But looking at the prices on the newer "High density" 256 meg stick out now Im almost tempted to return the Kingmax and save the money.I cant seem to find alot of reviews of any memory using the new High density chips.Just wondering...

I just upgraded to a Adaptec 39160 card and a 15k RPM Seagate HD My only complaint now is it sounds like the HD is being accessed constantly. I was wondering if this is normal and if not what I can do.Im running windows 2000 and updated all my drivers Any help would greatly be appreciated
