I do have to push it harder then my other 3 drives but it isnt that hard to push, i would call and get a rma and exchange it, most burning software have ways to open the tray without having to push the button..itskinda like the pop"o"matic in the game trouble..:)

Sure go to START/PROGRAMS/AHEAD NERO/ should list nero burning rom express toolkit ....etc if thats gone then reinstall nero..maybe got corrupted with all this crap we been thru trying to figure this HDburn out...lol...we should get paid by optorite for figuring there lame mistakes or lack of...
If i open up new compilation in nero is see 6 different burning settings with nero .35

Hdburn-video opens up a window with Audio_ts and video_ts folder, so it looks like you have to author a small 1.4 gig dvd...
SCORE!!! me to, i burned my first HDburn cd-r!! A guy from work gave me 5 Maxell 80 min cd-r and Bam they worked, stuck the memorex back in bang...same error, i guess its just media picky..so we got PNY, Fuji, Maxell's work and i read that Kypermedia worked too

Nero e-mailed me today with a so called HDburn fix, basically uninstall the software and reinstall, still same error trying to HDburn, burned a few dvd-r's today no problem....nad the supplied +R worked ok to. heres the nero email

Well so far ive made 3 dvd coasters in which i got a budlight sitting now, this morning i made a succesful ulead dvd and a ps2backup using Alcohol software, nero burning a .iso dvd file made a ps2 coaster.
no luck with Hdburn, just errors, maybe i'll try reflashing firmware, again,who knows...
Ive e-mailed them already today, B's doesnt have any HDburn features that i can find and under settings the light for HDburn enbled is off like its not even there.......this is probably the reason this drive went for $280 to $199 so fast!! ive found some stuff on that error and it mostly a bad...

Well i got this drive yesterday and have yet to burn anything, the supplied software B's recorder gold does not have HDburn features and in the settings it shows HD and DDCD not enabled, also in nero i can get HDburn to show but not DDCD,when atempting to burn a HD it just gets errors and kicks...
What operating system you using?, does it come with nero? with a lil ingenuity you can find any software on the 'net free....i got mine coming friday.....tracking is great, nice website and people to deal with
