Good deal. Looks nice too.
For people who only want a USB 1.1 6-way card reader,
new egg has the Biostar e-Catcher 6 IN 1 USB 1.1 reader
for $8 + $6 shipping = $14 with no rebates involved.
(See a previous thread that covers the Biostar).
New Rochelle makes this very risky.
They appear to have a policy of losing many first submissions.
Make copies of everything and be prepared to have
to call them and resubmit your rebate info. at least once.
Right now the desktop is connected to the Internet via dialup ISP and the laptop is using high-speed Comcast cable via network card. I am on a 2-month free trial of Comcast High-Speed.
Three techs from Comcast tried to get the desktop on Comcast via either USB or network card, but couldn't...
I have a Lexmark E210 laser printer and a HP 932C inkjet printer hooked up (using USB cables) to a Dell desktop running WinME.
I would like to also hook up at least 1 of the printers to a new Toshiba laptop running WinXP Home. I have open USB ports on both computers.
Thanks.
