the 360 upscales non 1080p sources (games and standard dvd's), HD-DVD movies are 1080p which does not need upscalling.
You got lucky, they are not in best buy stores yet. I have mine on pre-order with them and they do not ship out till the 16th. I should head down to my local BB and double...
Will this work with Windows Media Edition? I want to get an HD Tuner but from what i read you need an analog tuner in your system first. I'm thinking this would be a cheap option.
Not sure if SATA II is much of an improvement but I just bought a Maxtor 6V300F0 300GB SATA II 7200rpm 16MB HD at ewiz for $101..around $110 shipped.
Ewiz (looks like they bumped up the price to $ 102.74
Funny you mentioned that, when my brother's tv arrived (his name is pete btw), the ups guys were rolling it on the sides. We were expecting it to be messed up inside but we were pretty lucky. UPS sucks at handling.
The difference between 1080p vs 1080i/720p is huge if you want to run a PC...
I was sceptical but my brother just got this TV and its is really nice. Screen res is 1920x1080. Windows looks very crisp and the xbox 360 looked great.
The only we had that was 1080p was some of the HD windows media you can download online.
I've used the sp4805 / sp5000 and currently use a sp-7200
4805 is DLP and is 480p
5000 is LCD and 720p
But don't let the res fool you. The 4805 is a better projector for Movies and even HD content. I tried 2 sp-5000s within 2 weeks and returned them both. I had some noticable horizonal...
There are no refills for dye sub printers as it doesnt use conventional ink.
Most 4x6 dye sub printers come paper/ink cartridge packs so you buy them together.
Not really accurate. Dye sub printers are not as sharp as inkjets but since they are continuous tone you do not see dots. Dye sub...
Since i was not a current cable susbcriber and only an internet subsciber they would not give me the 42.95 for 3 month deal. I did how ever upgrade, but normal monthly fee's apply $62/mo (ouch). So for current internet only subscribers there is no deal :(
I just got the Backordered email.
What is the point of doing pre-orders?
It does say they expect shipment in 1-2 weeks...thats about when it will be luanched so maybe this i just an auto response stating they will not ship it earlier than the luanch date.
Samsung dvd players has had dvd player that has an upverter build in for over a year now. DVI out only. I've seen the difference and although not HD-dvd quality its is a nice upgrade to standard progressive dvd. I have an 55 HDTV with no DVI or HDMI inputs and I'm already thinking of replacing...
at that res you will print 10.24"x7.68" at 300dpi for print. Stretching it a little would matter much..but the more you enlarge it the picture will start to soften.
I just recieved this email:

In CA there is a B&M chain called the 99 cents store (not just any generic 99cents store!. I am not sure if these are nationwide.
I was there a few days ago and they had individually wraped 6ft CAT5 (RJ45) cables for 99cents..and 6ft USB cables for you guessed it 99cents.
Cellularshowroom.com screwed me
Although this is my first post....i have been coming here for hot deals for years.
