I am in need of some stress testing / audio testing on a shoutcast server we have running for a local school (sports games). Anyway I am looking for some people to connect up and see if the audio quality is decent from wherever you may be.
Use winamp and connect to:

Does anyone use VHCS for a hosting solution? Looking for opinions on it.

Is it worth it to go with a free solution like this or should I be looking into Cpanel or Direct Admin?
Thanks

Can anyone recommend a good ADSL2 dslam? We are currently testing an adtran1248 and are not happy with it. I am looking for something that is IP based, can do DHCP and has atleast 48ports of ADSL2+pots.
Thanks

We have a local school who would like to broadcast sports games over the internet. The idea was brought to us (an ISP) as we have done work with them before by broadcasting there radio casts over the internet, which was very easy once we got approval from the radio station.
This time it is a...
Question. Can I run EIGRP in this setup:
Cisco 7200 --------=====Non=====-----Cisco 2600
Cisco 7200 --------====Cisco=====-----Cisco 2600
Cisco 7200 --------===Core Switch===----Cisco 2600
Basicly what we have is 3 Cisco 7200's going to a non cisco core switch. And off of that core...
Just following up on what Bruceb said, as a DSL provider, You may eventually find that having them lower your speed slightly will actuallyimprove your speed. Its all about Noise Margin.
Also, you are going to have to make them find the real problem themselves. If you call up and ask for a a...
I have seen problems with older linksys routers (I know you have a d-link and not a linksys) where they would not handle more than 5 or so MB of throughput. We ended up taking them out and switching to another brand which resolved the problem. I am not familier with the exact router you have...
Keep this in mind. Your speeds are 10MB down and 1MBup to your ISP. Outside of that you are at the mercy of many many routes, servers ect.
After your ping packet leaves your ISP and heads out to its destination it is out of your ISP's control. What I am trying to say is you could have cut...
If you take the router out of the picture, and hook directly up are you having the same problems?
First lets make sure that it is actually the router causing the problem, even if it worked (before) take it out and verify that it is your problem.
About once or twice a day I get a call that shows up on my caller ID as 212
This started about a week ago and I have no idea WTF is going on. When the call comes in and I answer there is nothing there. It does not disconnect until I hang up, but it is dead on the other end.
My service is...
Just throwing this out there. It is possible that you are under a DoS attack of some sort. I have seen the problems you are describing before. With 40-50 machines on your network as you said, it could even be coming from inside of your network, unintential. Have you ran any scans on your network...
First, yes it has a built in wireless router.
Next, I have not heard of this brand. Anyone here ever use one of these? $24.99 for a ADSL modem + router with a built in firewall seems low to me. For that fact alone I would question the quality.
Others may be able to give you a little more...
This is NOT an EE position.
No, from what I understand it is more of a thinking question. One of those like the
"You have 9 balls, one of them is a heavier then the rest. What is the least number of times you can weigh them to find the heavier ball"
Puzzle like question. It just happens...
Alright I have limited information on this so I am hoping someone has seen this before. Has anyone had an interview question where they give you a diagram of a circuit board, and ask you to track down the bad componet?
I know that is not much to go on but I am hoping this is a common test...
