I think you should be able to replace 3+ monitors even if you only have 21 days as you will receive the replacement monitor within 2-3 business day (at least in my case).

GF 4 owners: What version of driver do you use?

If you are not using 4x.xx version, do you see any improvement at all using 5x.xx version? Correct me if i am wrong but I believe all the improvement in new driver is aimed at fx line of products. [edit: oops, just saw a related post, so version 44.03 is the final real update for gf 4...

Windows 2000 keeps rebooting during startup...virus problem?

Excellent signal strength but very very slow internet connection ??

Will the microwave and phone really affect that much if they are not active? The microwave is 5 feet away and the 900MHz phone is 3 feet away. I will try to move the computer farther away and see if that helps. (I do occasionally experience fast connection though every once in a while) momento

ATI to supply next generation XBox

Does anyone know why microsoft didn't choose nvidia? I read sometime ago that microsoft is selling xbox at a loss (and making up the loss from licensing the game title) and nvidia was asked to sell their GPU (for xbox2 if they get the deal) at a loss too. Any truth to this?

Raise FSB and lock PCI frequency?

I read from somewhere (can't remember) sometime ago, it says cards on PCI slots will stop working if its frequency deviates like a few megahertz (i guess the deviation is caused by changes in FSB) , true ?

thermal throttling ?

Yup, my mobo is 8rda+. The thermal throttling is currently set at 50 %. I oc'ed the cpu from stock to 2ghz on barton 2500 stock HSF. Thanks for the info. momento

Looking at the temperature, i assume your rig is in a very cool environment. Do you change your Vcore to get to those speed? If you did, i would suggest you buy better HSF to be on the safe side, like what Shady said. I didn't oc a whole lot, and i didn't even mess with the vcore. I will push...

The point of the question is (technical rather than being ethical),out of curiosity, is it possible for amd to differentiate a chip's failure whether it is due to overclocking or some other manufacturing problems ? No one is trying to cheat here.

The question is still, how do they (amd) know whether the chip was overclocked or really didn't work? Are we talking about an overclocked chip will always be seriously burnt and thus leaving a distinct physical damage? How do they exclude the cause of chip failure ?

Window XP setup hang at loading setupp.ini

If you mean the progress bar of copying setup files to hard drive, then yes. After that, it prompt me to restart, and then get to the real part (converting to NTFS section). But then it hangs either at 1. Checking environment 2 checking harddisk integrity 3. Loading setupp.ini what do you think?
