Hello, I'd like to hear some of your opinions regarding a machine I'm building. Should I go for an Opty 165 w/ 7600gt, or an athlon64 3700 w/7900gt? I wouldn't mind overclocking either with the stock fan. I'm a moderate gamer, and I always can sell my card and get something else...

should i up my vcore?

what is the highest vcore allowed for a barton? would 1.85 be ok? or is it just heat that matters?

memory question

hmm I think i'm going to get DDR400 memory, but is it worth getting cas2 memory instead of value ram? the price diff is like 30 bucks. Im looking at OCZ Performance Series at newegg that is 93 bucks and kingston valueram that is like 60.

no one heard of ex-patriot then? ah well. Do you guys think that the A64 is 150 dollars faster than the 2500 barton? How long do you think the a64 will last (be caught up with req. of games) as compared to the barton?

using nero with non-bundled burner

Is there any way to do this? I have nero 5.5 from a cdr burner I had a while ago and then I bought the 411s drive from liteon but i dont really like sonic software. Nero won't let me, it knows it was bundled to something else...is there a way around this? thanks.

I'm getting it from a price grabber store front glob2000....it has 4/5 stars from pricegrabber but i checked it against resellerratings and it had 4/10....i could get it from pc universe (9/10 from RR) for 20 bucks over the refurb price...and there is a 30 day warranty from glob2000...what do...

logitech momo or momo racing?

Ive been looking around for a couple of days at logitech's high performance wheels and I've seen the momo force (original) for $90 refurb and momo racing for $81 new. I can't decide between the two since the price difference is so minimal. Any suggestions or ideas? thanks.

thanks guys, i can do a repair installation of win xp, but i just wasnt sure if that was the way to go or if it would damage the info on my drives at all. So then supposedly after i follow through the repair install i would be able to acces my drives normally and install the patches from the...

Hello, I tried swapping a motherboard today (took out an iwill kk266+ and replaced it with a fic au13) new memory and processor, but same ide drives and pci cards. Xp boots and tells me that something isnt right or it didnt start up normally, and asks me if i want to continue normal boot or go...
