A good duck pen would be one of those children's plastic pools. Plus you can fill it with water once a day and let him swim and bathe.
we had ducks when I was younger...i think my dad used a plastic pool..with chicken wire around the edges. Tall enough so he couldn't jump out. Made half...

I only have 4 fish in this tank plus a humongous plecostomus.
There are 100-200 snails in my tank....
I found out they are Malaysian Trumpet Snails...I think i figured out how to get rid of some of them. If i leave the light off for a day or two they come out like crazy. Otherwise, about half of them stay hidden.
