Here's a quick-n-dirty explanation:
You keep a min-heap H of pointers to first elements of the streams.
Then you keep doing
1. m <- extract-min(H) #on the heap,
2. push(sortedList, m.value)
3. m = pop-stream(m.stream) # from the stream of the element
4. insert-heap(H,m)...
I've been checking the thread of this deal since its beginning at FW. Well I got one after all. At least for now it's the best laptop around the block. I'd write a few lines about how good it is, but that won't be objective because I already fell in love this thinkpad.
Hey we also get the IBM...
This happened with the Rio Karma a few weeks ago, and Dell just cancelled all the orders.
I think there's little hope that they will honor this one.
Ordered one anyway :))
It was so much fun to see the thread grow to several hundred posts within hours and people yelling fighting over an...
Kingston 512MB 266MHz DDR SODIMM
Lifetime warranty
No rebates
$98 Shipped!!!
FedEx 2 day
@kingston.com
The competitors go around $120.
Looked at the usual places to make sure it's not a repost. I hope I looked hard enough.
Could be a good deal if you're in the market for a laptop memory...
Can you use these with rebates?
Because rebate conditions in staples have something like:
"cannot be combined with other rebates, offers or promotions"
Anyone had any problems before?
Got the wireless network kit from local staples store today 109.94+5.70tax-15.00coupon-20.00MIR=80.64
15 off 75 is from the staples coupon thread in chubby wallet. Not good online but apparently works in store.
Probably not the best deal but it has less rebates, and takes only 30 minutes to go...
New R40s from IBM come around $800. They are not as durable and good looking as a used T series of similar price, but they have new technology hardware(400mhz fsb etc) and more importantly a warranty.
I bought one recently and I'm pretty happy about its performance. I could buy some Dell or HP...
Agree and errors are definitely more common in digital world as the price tags are indirect, ie the employee only sees an item number and some name.
See how a price mistake happens from an actual user log from dell.com (notice the extra y y):
Please enter the price for
213123431423431 Rio...
The point is, the fact that they were idiots doesn't change the fact that a traffic accident is nothing to be laughed at.
Hope nobody was seriously injured.
At least somebody else has invented it before 3M did. Otherwise, after all their advertising campaigns and coverage on TV you would be paying $5 a piece without feeling ripped off at all.
Now that was quick!!! I ordered mine ten minutes after I posted the deal.
It got through, but I don't know whether they will ship it.
The note in the confirmation email says:
"This e-mail is to confirm that the order below has been received, and all in-stock items will ship via USA Standard...
Combine this with a new amazon.com credit card.
Not only will you get 2 promotional $$$ certificates you'll also have at least 3*250=750 points towards the 3rd $$$ certificate from amazon.
I knew I should have waited a little more before buying my panasonic camera. September 29 was still good...
The rei-outlet has Timex Digital Compass Watch in closeout.
Find the 20% off code in tech bargain place and use standard shipping.
fixed product link on rei-outlet
Edit: It's OOS now.
If you want a similar functionality Timex watch at decent price, check out the campmor.com compass watches...
It's OK to make mistakes but why take it further to ask customers return what thay bought? They must have lost a lot.
Well maybe you cant always rip off people with your crappy computers, and sometimes roles change.
I hate it when they do not put enough space for a mouse in the keyboard drawer. I use the mouse minimally now because I had one such stupid desk when I was in undergrad.
I don't have a liking for HPs. I think they produce very low quality and overpriced desktops. I was expecting that this laptop would have a snail FSB that would make it a total crap. But it's much better than what I expected: 266Mhz. Nice budget laptop it is. I would still double check the linux...
Kingston still has a deal on secure digital. It was previously mentioned in some other thread.
$39.99-$10MIR=$29.99 shipped.

Bump for the hot deal.
I love my jump drive!
You don't know how much it changes your life before you have it.
Carry emails, bookmarks, papers, reports with you! (well the viruses too)
But don't forget to backup, it doesn't hurt.
The pen drive is backordered when you put it in the basket...
And this is what it says in description of the item:
Backorders will NOT be filled :(
Edit: which probably means, you have to go to the store and check...
Oh the deals are very nice, I accept that fact with all due respect. But I really cannot stay with them after all the bad experience I had, including trying new phones. I will feel very stupid to reexperience the same things with them and have 11 more months for the contract to expire. I will...
I didn't renew my contract with Sprint. They have good coverage but the reception sucks all the time. I used to live in Pittsburgh PA and now I am in Lafayette IN, I had the same poor reception in both places. What is worst is their poor software at network side. SPRINT makes all kinds of stupid...
A few of the reviewers complain about incompatibilities of Lexar memory sticks with some sony cameras, card readers and vaios.
And since they come with only 90 day limited warranty (contrary to 5-year warranty on other lexars), some people even claim that they are remanufactured.
