RCA and 3.5mm, Surround Sound

You need a Y adapter RCA to 3.5mm female. You then plug the green one (I think center/sub) into the female connector. I'm researching this right now too as i just got an HD DVR and have the same jack problems as you. I'm wondering if I'm able to get 2 Y adapters and plug 2 of the channels...

Building a New SFF PC

No, it's an efficiency thing. Sharing servers w/ creative isn't working - we are having constant issues and our IT staff's answer to every issue is "reboot our PC" or "reboot the server." Just trying to get better performance out of our server, if we can't from our IT folks. :) Thanks...

To be quite honest I'm not sure, but I would assume NT. Hardware I have no clue - I will ask my IT dept and find out. I'm thinking I'm looking for a general answer really - once I have an idea I can start the budget approval process w/ our finance dept.

Another thing I wanted to do that I failed to mention was run Orb on this so I can watch shows when I'm out of town. Unless there's a hack way to do that on TiVo, that sounds a little difficult.

A quick search of newegg showed me an Antec mATX case for $65. The newegg reviews of it say that it's a little crowded inside and heavy to boot. I'm also worried about noise so i'm checking silentpcreview for any reviews they have. I guess i just want to know what i can get in this price...

K, then what do you think about this one? ACER Notebook TM4000LCi Pentium M 710 1.4GHz This one has a 5 hour battery life. I like this one but it doesn't have the 15.4 screen which is key for movies...this one is also a bit pricier, but from what you are telling me, maybe it's worth it...

HSF question: Exhaust or Intake?

I know it is possible to get 2400 Mhz on my cpu, it's a matter of having the cooling to do so. The question wasn't really what else could I buy to make it work, it was whether I should exhaust or intake my CPU fan. Thanks for the reply, anyway.

POLL: Which case to get?

I realize this, but there are several theories as to whether 4 80mm fans or 1 120mm fan is quieter, which material blocks out sound, side panel holes/fans/louvres(sp?), etc. All of which affect the volume of sound eminating the case.
