iRaven - One of our faculty picked this model up. It feels solid (could be the weight) and overlooking the weight and battery life, it's a solid laptop for that price.
IMHO, it's a slammin deal for family members. Unless Dell's willing to throw in more memory or free upgrade to a UltraFP for a similar or lower price, I can't imagine the end of July deals getting much better.

I had a unique problem with the floppy drive controller. If I installed a drive, any floppies created when connected to the ECS board could not be read by any of my other drives (Drive is not formatted, would you like to format now?) Tried this with three seperate and good floppy drives...
