I have been slowly but surely deciding on a new Water Cooling Build. My question today is about the relative quality of different brnads of GPU water blocks.
A couple of commenetators has said that so long as one purchases from a well known manufacturer (EK, alphacool, WaterCool, phanteks...
Thank you for your reply. Regarding putting RGB/LED on fans for the rear exhaust or front intake, my case is a Thermaltake Core P3, ergo, no front or rear fans.
That makes sense. I think I will go with the Black Ice SR2 360 MP Rad since it is 9 FPI.
I am wanting to use the Phanteks fans because they seemed to have the best thermal and noise performance among LED/RGB fans.
If I understand what folks are saying, the consensus seems to be the one 360 rad...
Thank you for your suggestion. However, I am not concerned with optimizing performance or value/$. I am more interested in the "bling" as you suggest. I don't NEED to upgrade my system now. Its performance is more than I need. (ryzen 5 1600 and GTX 970) But I want another project, and this one...
I am planning out a water cooling build, and I would like some advice. It has been maybe 10 years since I last made a water cooled build.
These are my components:
Thermaltake Core P3 case
AMD Ryzen 5 2600
ASRock Fatal1ty x470 Gaming K4
EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 8GB FTW Gaming
EK monoblock for cpu...
Here is my current network set-up:

I want to run a gigabit network, and I thought I was. My netgear switch lights up for gigabit ethernet on the computers...
I'm upgrading my processor to an e8400. My current motherboard is a DFI Lanparty, and I like it. So I'm planning on getting the DFI DK P35-T2rs mobo. I want to run 4 gb of RAM using Windows Vista Ultimate (32 bit).
So, I'm thinking of these 2 (Mushkin vs. GSkill)...
Thanks for your input, but none of these responses specifically address this mobo with 4GB RAM and the e8400 CPU. How does the IP35 Pro work with the e8400 and 4GB RAM?
Hello computer experts!
I am upgrading a new computer, and I need help getting the right mobo/RAM combo.
I have an e8400 CPU, and I want to run it with 4GB of RAM[DDR2-1066] (All other parts will come from existing computer.) I would like to overclock (on air.)
I have been thinking of...
having just bought a P4P800 deluxe and trying (first timer) to overclock, I would say it is more important the memory you buy rather than the choice between these two boards. I assume the Abit is every bit as good as the Asus, and the Asus is very good. I wish I had bought PC3500 rather than...
I appreciate your help. I must not have made it clear in my earlier post; when I set the DDRAM at 400, the only CPU frequency that will run without errors in Prime95 is 200 ... (which I believe is the stated speed). So ... I am running the DDRAM at Auto because that doesn't produce errors when I...

ok ... after trying several things ... it appears that running the DRAM frequency at 400 causes errors in Prime95.
running the DRAM settings at 2.5-3-3-8-8 gives AIDA scores of 4117/1080, while DRAM at 2-3-3-8-8 gives 2804/979. (I must say I am a bit confused since these corsair chips are...

Help please. I can't decide which of the upgrade options would give me the best price/performance "bang for my buck"
I currently have an Asus A7M266 mobo running Athlon 1200 CPU with 512 mb of PC2100 DDR. I have a GeForce4 Ti4200 128mb video card.
