Thanks, JackMDS. The problem doesn't happen when one comp is directly connected to the cable modem. And yes, the MAX clone address is enabled in the settings on my router. I'm pretty sure bittorrent causes the problem. Does anyone know about this? Ways around it?

I have a linksys etherfast cable/dsl router 4 port (model BEFSR41) hooked up with cat 5 cable to three computers each running windows XP. I just got it working today. In the last couple hours all three computers have lost their net connection at the same time. This has happened twice. I have Cox...

how do you disable Windows Zero wireless config? is it just and service? and if the way to stop it is run "NET STOP WZCSVC" then I've already tried that and it doesn't fix anything. ty anyway

ive been watching me ping during games and its pretty good for a little while then it suddenly jumps to 1000-1200. does anyone know what might cause this?

i did a test on broadbandreports.com and it said d/l speed: 1100 kbps up'ld speed: 214 kbps if this is of any use

apparentley the sudden internet failure was caused by a thing called EAPOL connection. every time it ran it killed the connection. its supposedly fixed now (although im still a little wary) but the lag is the same. im sure its not the range because it has worked fine before, there is just...

its always on, the host comp has a toshiba cable modem with cox. to make it clearer ive got two of those intel access points, running. is there any way i can lengthen the usb cable or something to get closer, b/c the computer are across the house from each other. thanks for the help guys
