Trying to build new 3300x system with no parts lol.
Settled on Thermaltake s100
Wanting to connect 6 fans: 3 front intake, 2 top exhaust and 1 rear exhaust. Thinking of using a fan hub that connects to SATA power and mobo fan header to control speed. I’ve always used molex before. Are these...
Same results without the router. When the test runs it matches the "external ip" that shows up on the traceroute (ping tools ap) not my router's ip. So I guess the shields up was probing that and not my router.
My ISP is a local telephone company. They sell 2 different wireless routers in their retail stores but don't configure or set them up. Thanks for the information - very helpful.
Shields up test shows responding to ping even though it's turned off in cheap wireless router I have as well as open...
Just upgraded from dsl to fiber. My isp put a box on the outside and connected it to the inside with cat5 I just plug directly into my wireless router (or computer). Wondering if when I run a shields up test it's testing my router that I can configure or the box outside/connection at my isp that...

Thanks for the responses. The acer is very nice indeed but I really don't have a problem with 6-bit panels - really like my vx922.
I think i may just go with the Chimei 22" because of the higher refresh and bigger screen.
I want a widescreen mainly for xbox 360 - I have a Viewsonic VX922 now (really pleased with it).
These are all highly rated at Newegg - what do you think / anyone own these?

I decided to get a Viewsonic VX922 but saw this review at Newegg:
"5Eggs - Trade off... but worth it.

DDR Voltages
When it comes to running voltages out of spec, hardly any manufacturer has the kind of track record as ASUS. From the P5A to the A7M266, the road has literally been paved with burned DIMMs and the A7V333...
how can i change the vdimm (memory voltage) on the a7v333? i see the vcore but can't find the vdimm anywhere in the bios. [trying to stop lockup when running 333 fsb (2600+ XP)]
i put my 2600 (333), another PC2700 memory stick and slk800a in A7V333.
problem is when i set it to cpu speed 2083 (333 fsb) the computer locks up after just a minute and all i can do is reset (not windows/can't reboot or even cut it off). this only with happens on 333 fsb. if i run on 133/33...
i am a complete oc newb.
think i could save some $$$ and overclock a 2500 barton to 2800 speeds (2.08)?
a7v333 mobo
pc2700
slk800a
is it possible to run the memory stock and just up the proc? is that the best way to oc?
my other alternatives are:
2800 barton $177 2.08GHz
2700 t-bred $133...
