Well, I appreciate your input. I think the answer is obvious. $$. Or else, why would I not get the 3 ghz version? Other people may want to reconsider what mobos they buy. I have mine, and advice of the type, "sell your car and buy a new one", just don't go far.

OK, thanks for the followup. How does this sound? Constructed some Staple product #s from Sparco.com P4 2.66 Ghz (533 FSB) SPARCO A663497 - > IM1366794 P4 2.8 Ghz (533 FSB) SPARCO A663797 - > IM1366797 Now, should I og with the 2.8 or the 2.66? THe price difference is $194 vs $254.

Not so sure about that. The Sparco code for a P4 2.66Ghz for the 533Mhz FSB is "A663497" and this is way off all the other codes mentioned in this thread. As you can see from my other post, I am tryign to figure out the IM part # for chips that fit the 533 Mhz FSB. Any help appreciated.

The sony suports both +R/RW and -R/RW. And it's a Sony... $169 for that drive is pretty darn good. it is on sale now at CompUSA at $329 or $299. Can't go wrong at what you got it for. As for the 510 vs the 500. That rewrite speed is only for DVD+RW the minus rewrite is still only 2x. And I am...

In order to review an LCD monitor you have to know the resolution and the screen refresh rates (measured in milli seconds - ms). Nobody know the ms rating on the Kogi - > hard to tell the quality. Of course, if you never play games/videos on your PC, it does not matter much.

How does price matching work?

not as funny as the other replies but; take the printer back to compusa buy it again from Staples That is hoping they don't charge a re-stocking fee. If they do, simply read the price matching/low price guarantee on their web site and see if they will match their own price within asome...

been considering this monitor (289 at Amazon after GC), but am unable to get technical specs on it. How fast is redraw? You need about 20 ms for good gamin quality. Even Kogi's website does not list their score, which made me worry. Does anyone know? (I may still go shopping today.)
