Why does Samsung have no M2 in PCI-E 4.0? And other companies have?

From what I've seen, PCI 4.0 brings almost no benefit to actual application performance - only to synthetic sequential transfers. I have no reason to get too excited about it right now.

Hard drive problem on old laptop.

Pull the laptop's hard drive and use a USB to 2.5" hdd reader and see how much of the data you can pull off the drive onto a good computer. I would not try to recover the data off the hard drive while it's still in the busted laptop.

Poor USB 3.0 speeds on CF card reader.

I have this compact flash card and it's capable of 60-70MB/s read, easily. I use mine hard and have seen no decrease in speed over the past couple years. I also use a Kingston USB 3.0 reader with mine and regularly get 90MB/s+ with the right card - so USB 3.0 isnt likely to be the issue...

Thanks for the links guys. Although the fanless industrial systems look awesome, thats probably a bit out of the budget. Something more along the lines of the Newegg prebuilt systems would probably be more in line.

SATA connector broke - repair?

Interesting idea. I have actually already taken the cables off the drive (hence the breaking), and tossed the tabs in the trash. I wonder if the cables will make sufficient connection without the tabs. If so, then it's definitely worth sacrificing a pair of cables to have functional drives again.

Need Help OC'ing 2500K (Sandy Bridge) on Asus P8P67 LE motherboard

I'm not sure if you read everything I wrote here, but you absolutely cannot set the CPU ratio to anything higher than stock on this board. Also, this BIOS is different than the regular, Pro, Deluxe, etc versions of the board. The only BIOS for this one is the initial one (0710).
