Make sure in the bios that the GA option is set to auto Lower your mem timmings blelive it or not HyperX 3500 doesnt do to well at 1:1 with tight timmings I bought some HX 3500 to replace my HX 3000 and found it worked worse than the HX 3000 so I sent it back. good info on HX 3500 vs 3000 Here...

Rheobus problems,need help

I just bought the 3.5 VR rheobus from SVC in hope of making my comp a little more quiet. Well for the build of the rheobus goes I'm happy, it said on SVC' site that it has an 8w limit but it now comes with 13w per channel,and the knobs are newer than all the pictures I've seen of it. So now...

Epox 8RDA+ and ECC Memory

This is probabaly a dumb question but here it goes. The manual says it will support unbufferd non ECC Memory, does this mean it wont work period at all with ECC memory or there isnt an option to enable ECC memory I would like to order this board but right now as memory goes I only have 2 sticks...

NTLDR is missing....I have tried to fix it but no luck (XP)

I have a feeling your right ericboo the problem is that the MAXBLAST software doesnt see the riad controller 3+4. Thanks for the help I have managed to fix it in a strange work around, What I did was using the floppy with NTLDR and ntdetect.com to boot into windows with the drive on IDE 3 and...

Thanks for the suggestion guys I'll check them out I should of stated that they allready have 192meg of PC100 ram, I'm sure they don't wan't to rebuy any new ram. And the CPU I'm looking to get them is a 1Gig PIII.

Outlook Express Is Messed up Need Help

Is there a way to repair Outlook Express in Win XP I was installing a scanner and was configuring it to Email a scan and now my Email gives me an error when I try to open it. I uninstalled the scanner software but no luck.

IDE cable queston

Well I really just want to shorten my cable up, see my HD is right on top of the motherbord IDE connection and I was just looking to make the cable shorter by using the Master side to the drive and the slave side to the motherboard.

My question is can you plug the master side in the drive and the slave part on the motherboard in stead using the whole thing. (IE) I want to cut off the long end and just use the slave to connnect to the motherboard. Will this work right or will I have problems with data coruption or something...

Please help put Epox 8K7A+ to sleep !!!

I'm pretty sure it has something to do with the highpoint controller [IDE-RAID HPT370] my last motherboard was an Abit Be6-II with the highpoint and it would not go into sleep mode and gave me a screen that said something like the highpoint controller can not be put in suspend mode

Help me get to 133mhz stuck on 132 with 700E

Right now my fbs is at 132mhz and when I try 133 it wont go into windows ive tried everything I know to get past 132. Ive tried upping the voltage,setting ram to 3,3,3 3,2,2 ,2,2,2 ,pulling my pci cards, putting the ram in different slots, any ideas? My system is Abit BE6 II Maxtor HD...
