    EVGA 750i FTW - CPU-Z detects chipset as 650i

    Same here. I have an P5N-D and CPU-Z states the same thing. So does PCWizard. A bios update was supposed to correct it but didn't. No a problem though. I wouldn't lose any sleep over it.

    Good Utility software that monitors CPU temp.

    I use PCWizard and RealTemp. Core temp seems show temps a bit higher than other programs. PCWizard will show a ton of info up in the right hand corner when minimized. SpeedFan is another option.

    This is a strange one. I plopped in an E2180 and Windows see's only 1 core. Everest and CPU Wizard see 2 cores but only 1 of them is being used. The other core just sits there. No temp readings or activity at all. I know the board supports Pentium D's. Any idea what may be causing this ?
