any CPU/Heatsink Fan w/o putting any thermal paste on it?

Just bought the Thermalright 900 heatsink but I don't think it comes with any sort of thermal heat transfer material... Can anyone make any recommendations as to which thermal paste or pad I should buy? I prefer thermal pads if they make them (I've only seen them on the retail CPU/HSF combos)...

POLL: Is the Opteron or Athlon 64 on your upgrade roadmap?

Prescott for sure. I'm more impressed by the IBM 64 bit chip in the Appl e computers. They can run the OS in 64-bit AND run the old 32-bit apps and software at the same time. Does anyone know if the AMD chip can do this? I heard that the Athlon 64 must run in either 32-bit mode OR 64-bit mode...

OCZ PC3700 vs Corsair PC3700

I've got the Corsair RAM as well, no problems at all I got 2 GB of the stuff for 600 bucks about 4 weeks ago(2 TwinX sets).

Gaming LCD Monitors?

Both Samsung and Iiyama have a 20 inch monitor that that has a 25ms response time. Is that decent for gaming performance? The Sony monitor has a 30ms response time, which seemed a little high, especially when compared to the 16 ms response times of the newer 17" models...

Gaming LCD Monitors?

I've currently got an older Iiyama Vision Master Pro 512 22-incher that I'm looking to upgrade. Its a few years old now and the screen gets fuzzy in WinXP at pretty much any resolution over 1024x768(Its like when you get the slight double image on your TV(ghosting is aybe what its called...)...

The timing adjustment worked! I changed the CAS latency from 2.5 (That was WAY out of recommended spec) to 3 and havent had any problems since.

Geforce FX 5900 Ultra Overclocking

Does anyone know of a good utility that will let me adjust the clock speed on my FX card? The eVGA card now ships at 450 MHz but I want to bump that up possibly back to 500 MHz. I know Gainward's drivers come with a utility to do this but I'm not sure if they are compatible with my eVGA card...

I think you guys are right, I just checked the manual(I should do that more often) and the table says that I can run up to four double sided modules in dual ddr. Thanks for you help!

Ati9800 or Nvidia FX5900 which one

Slightly off topic, but does anyone know of a utility to overclock the 5900 Ultra back to 500 MHz? I know you can do it with Gainwards drivers, but I'm not sure if my eVGA card is exactly the same as the Gainward's...
