As mentioned in the posts above, a WET11 can specifically be used as the input source for a router and can issue multiple unique IP addresses via DHCP so that you can get a bunch of computers connected to the same router, going wireless.
All I was trying to say, was that by my reading of the...
I was reading through the manual and it says on Page 10:
It seems to me that this can only handle DHCP'ing a single computer. So, if you were to hook this up to a router's internet in, it would only be able to handle one computer on the router, regardless of the number of ports, since it will...
Actually, the rebate is on digisette's site, and they won't honor it from Outpost.
See the rebate here: http://www.digisette.com/rebate.asp (if that doesn't work, go here) and then click on the rebate link.
Note the text here from the rebate page:
Rebate not valid in all stores listed on our...
1. Buy from J&R for $129.88 + $4.95 shipping (link)
2. BVG to Outpost.com ($59.99) (link)
3. Send in the $70 rebate (J&R is an authorized rebate retailer for this) (link)
$129.88 (J&R)
$ 4.95 (shipping)
($ 69.89) (BVG)
($ 70.00) (rebate)
---------
($ 5.06)
You'll make $5 and get a free MP3...
The rebate requires "original receipt" and says photocopies will not be accepted...so, looks like you can only get one of these rebate items in a single order (making it harder to use the mastercard (10/50) promotion).
over on the wallet, a guy said that CostCo has it for $299.99 in store (not online) and that he PM'd to that with the 15% off....his total after rebate and tax is ~ $71. He did the whole deal on the phone.
I eventually paid with a CC. I just chose CASH so that i paid nothing until after the PM got approved. My order of events was to pm first, and then use the coupon after they approved the pm. I had a much easier time at the second OD than the first. The big thing is to actually place the order...
B&M.
My simplified story:
Wed: I ordered it online (with the 15% off coupon) for instore pickup, paying with CASH (so that i don't actually pay anything yet). Go to the store an PM to CompUSA's offer ($449 with free SD card) and get the 15% off of that.
Thu: I ordered it online (with the 15%...
Here's confirmation that the CostCo PM works. I did it last night.
And for those getting turned down because CostCo isn't an "office supply store", (i didn't have to do this, but) ask them to define an office supply store. CostCo sells quite a number of the same things that OD/OM/Staples...
joda,
OD is wrong. CUSA's price after rebate is $349.99. If they add the bundle to their cart (or just fully read the description) they will see that the price you pay is $449.99 with an additional $100 back after rebates.
the od 15% coupon was a click-thru link (look in the regular places to find it). I ordered it online after going through that link, then chose CASH as payment method and chose the store as the pick-up location.
I printed out the order showing the 15% coupon (they can also see it if they search...
I did the PM at OD against CompUSA ($449.99 with free 32 meg SD card and then 15% off that) last night. So that definitely can work. I'm not sure about a PM against CostCo. I'm very interested to hear about other people's success, but I'm sure it's really YMMV.
As for the rebates, the OD and...
From what i've seen based on last year and this year, there's a major price-drop/rebate deal on the discontinued iPaq's each year. So, if you want a decent deal on the 3900 series, you'll probably be able to get it for ~ $200 or so (maybe less) in about a year when the next series is the most...
A discussion is going on about this over on the wallet...if you pm to Office Depot and use their 15% off coupon, you're looking at a total ~ $350 after tax.
Then there's the $100 in compaq rebates.
But wait, there's more....
OD has another $100 in rebates OF IT'S OWN.
So, your new total is...
it looks like there's only $20 in rebates (2 $10 ones)....i think you were looking at the canadian version of the second rebate ($15 CAD).
So, the correct total would be:
$59.99 - $10 MIR - $10 MIR - $20 Coupon = $19.99 + tax.
if you can wait a few days for shipping, you can get it cheaper (save on tax) from ddc (deep discount cd).
Counting Crow - Hard Candy - $9.89 (DeepDiscountCD.com)
Use the 10% off coupon for yet another buck in savings.
Our ever-expanding readership has led to a need for certain upgrades to the dotComics website to ensure that all our loyal fans get the most out of their dotComics experience.
Unfortunately, these necessary upgrades are incompatible with the dotComics downloadable player, which is no longer...

nuonce,
if you're using a webemail address (like hotmail), at the VERY bottom of the email they have the URL that you can use. Copy and Paste it into a clean browser so that you're not in a webmail framset. That should fix your problem.
a card giving 3:1 $:miles is absolutely terrible. I know that with Amex, despite no BVG, you can get 2:1 with continental, and if you have a pay card, you get 1:1....there are better deals out there..
Somehow I just have to completely disagree with you dizyblond.
I just did the deal yesterday. I have absolutely no reason to believe that the circuit city rebate is the same as the motorola rebate.
Circuit City rebates rarely ask for a copy of the UPC unless they know other rebate offers...
I have an Asus A7m266 mobo with a 120gig WD on IDE1 and IDE2 has lite-on 24x burner (primary) and LITE-ON 16X DVD LTD-163 (secondary).
BIOS is set to automatic detection for all four (IDE1(p/s), IDE2(p/s))
If i do a cold, hard boot, everything is recognized fine.
If I do a warm reboot (reset...
I got this monitor from a previous staples deal (with a PM and the rebate, it was actually free)....The monitor's picture is pretty good for a 15" monitor.
Another guy here mentioned that he got it to go at 85 Hz.....how did you manage that? I can't find the specific drivers for this monitor...
There are already 4 threads on this cable modem (that i could find so far...) (they mention compatibility, and better deals on it)

I'm not sure about the firewall, but it doesn't act like a router. It has a single USB port and ethernet (giving you the option to connect it to your computer via ethernet or USB -- choose ethernet). Your best bet is to get this modem (it's a hell of a deal at $30 shipped) and get yourself a...
I can't find the link, but you were previously able to order this for free directly from MS on their website. Might be worth taking a few minutes to poke around there instead of buying hardware (if you don't need it) just for a 30-day trial....
