that cooling sounds nice. you shouldn't have a problem with temps. i'm running 1.85V with a vantec copper iceburg and a zalman passive. no problems here.

do i need a resorvior?

do i need this when watercooling. or can i just get a bucket and turn on the pump and pump water through the system. when the system is full of water clamp the two tube ends together using a T clamp. someone please explain i'm kinda confused now. is it worth getting a reservior?

i have decided that the danger den maze 3 cpu block is the block i'm gonna get for my overclocking setup. now i just need a good pump and heatercore. i think i'm gonna do hydor for pump. the l30 model but i'm not sure about heatercore anymore can someone help?

well phil i was reading alot of reviews on the koolance exos and it seems to be very good. every review said that the performance is really good, but you can make better setups. but the exos doesn't come with a cpu block. so if you wanna get a good one its like another 50 bucks. 250 bucks...

make sure that the jumper to reset the CMOS is in the right position. i had that problem once where i thought my mobo was blown but it was only my stupidity. good luck it really sucks that your having all these problems with so many mobos.

bjc are you saying 2.5 is the highest on air or watercooling. cause i'd think 2.5 is about the limit even with good watercooling setup.

any fixes for window scratches?

a car buffer thats if you've ever used one before cause they can be pretty mean edit. actually go to your local automotive store and pick up a wax pad and get a bottle of polish that has some grit to it. if you really wanna get pretty get a bottle of wax to go over the window after you use...

yea shady i realized that .15volts and about 10c hotter temps aren't worth 57 mhz. although that little bit changed some benches a decent amount. i think watercooling would satisfy my craving for max speed.

yep guys i ran some benches...well actually just 3dmark01, and i scored higher with the fsb at 206 and timings at 11,2,2,2. it was about 150 pt increase. if i got like ddr3500 would i be able to keep low timings and get the fsb to like 220mhz? or is 3500 a waste of time? thanks for the...

would running a fsb of 206mhz with ram timings of 11,2,2,2 be slower than a fsb of 215mhz with ram timings of 11,3,3,2.5 all on a 8rda+ w/ 2800@ 2.37

was i right in assuming that my crashes out of programs and back into the desktop were caused by the memory. i dropped my proc speed to like 1.9GHz with stock voltage and upped the fsb. i could only do 215 at 11,3,3,2.5 could my temps have caused crashing also? cause the day after we turned...

well my temps at 2.0v was 54-56c under load. i set it back cause about two days ago my computer started crashing out of 3dmark03 back into windows. i thought it was my memory cause my fsb was at 211 with timings of 11,2,2,2. so i set back the fsb to 206 so i could keep the memory at those...

is there any reason for running at 60Hz? my v-sync is set to default off....should i just turn it off altogether? does v-sync really help anything if my res is set to 1024x1280 all the time?

does refresh rate make ANY difference with LCD monitors. i have a NEC 1760LCD and i have 60-75Hz. i did notice that the screen appears to have sharper text at 60Hz rather than 75Hz. its harder to fine tune all the pixels at 75Hz. when my refresh rate is at 60Hz i get lower 3dmark scores...
