I tested my ram and they passed memtest with 4-4-4-12 @ 400mhz at stock voltage (2.1V) and orthos blend. I don't think this ram will pass at 3-3-3-9. I'll try with 4-4-4-4.
Use a PS2 keyboard and/or mouse to look at the driver in device manager and try to update it. I had that happened once since the correct driver didn't load.
Yeah, mine is revision 1. It won't post if I don't change it to 2.2V @5-5-5-15 w/ 450. I ran memtest for couple passes. I have C2 DS3 so I don't know if it fix some issue with ram. I tried to run @ +.2V but it gave me reboot than @ +.3V (no reboot). I'm still trying to configure. I can run 400...
How come Orthos blend gave me errors after 7hrs? I ran Orthos small FFT for 17hrs and memtest for 2hrs (6passes) but they didn't give me errors at same settings.
I disabled C1E and EIST. U can try RMClock to enable C1E and EIST in windows again. I'm running @ 426FSB with E6400 do I need to set on GMCh OVERV +0.1V and FSB OVERV +0.1V?
What voltage are u guys using this ram with DS3? I set mine as Vdimm+0.3. Is that correct? I heard that it works better with 1.95 but u can't set +0.15.
I'm using stock hsf and stock voltage without OC. My Core Temp are 43C or 42C @ idle while SpeedFan reports 39C. I'm using it with DS3 and P180B. Aren't they high. How do I check other temp?
I plan to oc. What hsf should I get?
