I am not getting how you guys can get it so low. Mine goes into the low fifties when really under load and I already have Vantec's iceberg blue on one of my RAM, a HDD cooler, Artic Silver 3 in my 2600 (no o/c) in an Antec LanBoy. Oh, case temps go up to 40 when under load too. Is that bad?

I've tried that when it first said cmos memory low.
Currently the problem is that it's saying CMOS memory error. I've tried changing the two sticks of 128mb pc100 ram to pc2700 512mb but still the same message occurs.

When you said they came with wrong CMOS settings. You mean those three pins of which a certain way the jumper is set, is for resest and another for Normal?

The P4X400 (VIA chipset) has 6 USB 2.0 provisions.
(2 rear, 4 pin headers)
has two usb ports on board and 4 additional 2.0 on the pci card that came with it which I cnnected to the usb pins.
I've disconnected two of the 4 2.0 usbs for the front usb. so now left with two 2.0...
the PCI card came with the mobo....did they expect people to have either no front usb connections to use or just give up either the front or those four anyways?

You can also look into the Canon i850 which goes better for college students' budgets. Doesn't print as gorgeously as the i950 but more than adequate for most stuff.
