I'm starting to acquire parts to put together an HTPC for the office.
My main goals are:
1. A system that can run Vista with 4 DVI/HDMI outputs (I currently have 4 monitors on my desk running on 2 machines and want to be able to run one machine that can power all 4 monitors with separate...
I've picked up stuff like this from dealextreme.com Happy with http://www.dealextreme.com/details.dx/sku.1377 this one which was $3.95 shipped and does SD/MMC as well as memory stick.
It's been some years since any of the kids have tried to eat light bulbs and since we put the bulbs in the sockets and don't let anyone throw them at each other, there is no breaking and no sitting around breathing in any vapors.
Got mine from PCConnection today. Ordered on 9/1 at 11 pm est. Other than slight marring on one spot on the front that should wash off, the unit is AMAZING. No problems with any pixes and it DWARFS the 24.1 Samsung sitting next to it (that once was the largest monitor available!).
The same deal was posted over the weekend with a couple of different vendors on the other hot deals forums and orders got canceled due to a claimed price error.
We'll see what happens with this one, but I'm willing to give it a try. :)
I'm in the music business, so going is no question. I fly in to LA and its an easy drive, but if you don't need to be in LA (I try to take some meetings before and after).
Palm Springs is the closest airport
check out your local COmpusa clearance sale...I found a Flashtrax 40 gig for $150 before a $100 MIR recently. Don't know if the rebate is good, but saw that the price at my store was down to $130. It plays DIVX, has a usb port and a CF slot.
1. You can do a "WHOIS" search to get the domain info...I like betterwhois.com
2. While the site may have been made just a week ago, 20,000 happy customers in a matter of days can't all be wrong. :)
be careful when ordering..the lowest price at amazon is from some other vendor who charges $13 for shipping...make sure you choose Amazon as the seller (currently 28.95) and get the free shipping.
Note: I just saw in Billboard Biz today that Olympus is getting out of the MP3 field and these units are over. Given that tech support was poor when they were new, expect none moving forward.
I'll attest to the Shure warranty...I sent in E3's last year that my dog had decided to check through and they replaced them for the $40 or so fee.
I'm now using E4s with custom sensaphonics sleeves that increase the quality dramatically over the foamies and triple flange I used to use.
Unless you've already got the cables, I suggest checking the deal at Surf Audio, a well respected vendor I found through AVS Forums who sell it for $199 Fedex shipping included along with "Added Bonus! - includes both a 5' DVI cable and a 6' DVI-to-HDMI cable!:
They also flash the system to...
if you've trained with a good instructor for six months, you should be able to create a workout out home.
I agree that there is nothing like being in a classroom and rolling with others, but you can still workout and train your body.
Couture is older than Shamrock, but there is a LOT less wear on the tires. He's had under 20 full contact fights and only one of his losses was stopped by strikes whereas three of Shamrocks last four losses were by strikes and one was a decision were he ate a lot of leather.
To my knowledge...
Shamrock has been over for quite some time.
If you knew his record and saw all his fights, you wouldn't be saying that he's in great condition...his is ten years past him prime and hasn't beaten a figher of any signifigance since he submitted Severn in 1995.
His only wins since they are over...
I have this printer.
I purchased it when it was on sale with a 50% off coupon so it was $200 plus tax.
I figured I could not go wrong with such a deal.
I figured wrong.
Today it decided that there was no paper in the drawer. My assistant reported otherwise. He said about 100 pages were...
I'm qualified to speak here as I live in NYC and lost friends on 911 and am currently vacationing in Thailand and lost friends in Phuket (thailand).
911 was much scarier as there was no end in sight and it was man's inhumanity against man. The death toll here (Thailand) will probably be worse...
Your two cents are worthless...it is NOT the same thing. Your device is both significantly larger (won't fit in a shirt pocket) and requires a power supply.
missed..darn...they were listed at this price as clearance and I couldn't put them in my cart, only other vendors at $149.99, so I logged into Amazon from another browser and they are now back to $149.99 and not available from Amazon directly, only third parties.
Thanks for a great deal OP, too...
Please get beyond the fact that my mail is hosted there..I'm in the process of moving it over Christmas so I won't lose any mail during the move.
Here's the problem:
I can access my e-mail from their mail.yahoo.com portal and can send and receive only via my cell phone (a treo 600 on the...

It's real...I bought one about 6 weeks ago at this price.
Today it got a paper jam, having printed less than 200 pages. We tried and tried clearing the jam and it kept getting jammed again. A call to Dell (an my assistant's half hour plus hold time) got a replacement printer on the way after a...
