Like anything else, it depends on who you ask. I thought it was a great series throughout (with better moments). YMMV.
Perhaps you'd be better served by sticking to "pew pew" sci fi then... I think a lot of people were caught off guard because BSG was a gritty drama first and sci fi second...
Where are you getting your facts from? From what I see:
Coca Cola: 97 cal, 27g sugar / 8oz
Vitamin Water: 50 cal, 13g sugar / 8oz
Or, if you can't do the math:
Coca Cola: 242.5 cal, 76.5g sugar / 20oz
Vitamin Water: 125 cal, 32.5g sugar / 20oz
Last I checked "half" and "as many"...
I actually have the permit on my car and really like it. Most won't even get it but that's ideal.
The main problem with the permit is that it is orange and transparent and is difficult to read as a result. I ended up cutting out a white backing and then applied it to the inside of the window.
Drobo is interesting (though like efnethore says I can't imagine relying on USB) but I'd recommend going with the Promise NAS for the price. I certainly paid a lot more for my ReadyNAS.
It's not SFP but it's still an excellent HD CRT and the last of its type. It doesn't have the reliability issues of the XBR960 either.
Resolution is only one aspect (of many) of picture quality. Plasmas do offer good contrast ratios but for the price it's difficult to beat a CRT. As for a...
No kidding! Luckily it's a one-time deal... at least until you upgrade the PSU or motherboard. You really need long cables on the PSU. It quickly gets cramped in the lower section.
I have a black P180 with three 120m fans inside and the 500 watt Phantom PSU. It's definitely very quiet.
"FOR A LIMITED TIME ONLY you can sign up for our "Code Monster" hosting plan at HALF PRICE! Plus, the sale price is good for AS LONG AS YOU KEEP THE PLAN!"
You've definitely never used a real rice cooker then. It definitely doesn't fit everyone's needs but outright proclaiming that one is a waste of counter space is truly ignorant. Anyway, that said, I'll have to give this recipe a try with my Kitchenaid Pro 5+.
I "really" (what does that mean?) use an internet saving account and I'm with ING. Of course, when I signed up they were giving out $50 for new accounts. Depending on the amount you're putting into the account, a $25 bonus could be much greater than 0.4%.
I'm impressed that so many have nothing better to do than thread crap. If you don't like the deal, move on. First, it's not like the subject was misleading or anything. Second, each thread crap reply just bumps this post up.
Definitely make sure you have a TV or video monitor connected to your editing system for evaluating the image regardless of whether you're using a CRT or LCD as a primary display.
How exactly does a link to the Amazon page for the Firefly DVD set "distort reality"? To affect the amazon sales rank the set has to be purchased. I'd have to agree that you seem to be the one with the conspiracy theories and too much time on your hands since you're busy posting in deal...
BSG is slower. It's really more of a drama in a sci-fi setting IMO. If you're expecting fast paced action sequences back-to-back you're going to be disappointed.
...and that's some lame threadcrapping. The title and the price were available in the topic listing. Why did you even bother clicking on it? Do you really have nothing better to do?
The movie's good but I wouldn't call it exceptional. It definitely doesn't stand on its own though they...
Unless your final video is intended to be viewed on a computer don't judge video quality on your monitor. You need to view it on a TV or NTSC monitor. For one thing, your PC's monitor is progressive and DV is, by default, interlaced. Don't de-interlace unless you're going to watch only on a...
...and as people have said, you didn't miss much. Most items I bought with their 20% off were increased in price for the sale. Still managed to get 2-3 dollars off each one overall but it definitely wasn't a hot deal -- lukewarm at best.
I'd have to agree with razor2025 and say that the closest show to Firefly is Cowboy Bebop but that won't be a useful comparison to most people. Definitely check out the show and give it at least 2-3 episodes. Yes, it is a bit cheesy, but the show is definitely worth getting past the cheese (or...
It's a gamble really. If things work out like they're supposed to with TD then you're fine. It's just when there's a problem and you have to contact their customer service that you're pretty much SOL.
In my experience Enterprise has always been very pushy with their insurance and seems to randomly give out cars. I've never had such problems and quite often get class upgrades without requesting them from Hertz (and fairly decent rates with a USAA discount). YMMV.
You get what you pay for. The P180 is built really well and very thoughfully. Personally, I've had enough of cheapo cases with poor fit, no room, and all sorts of other issues.
