no a cheap one. at the time I bough it, it cost $120!!!:( too bad... my ram . gotta find another hot deals for ram..

does it mean my ram is dead?

the ram can't boot the system any more. it is a 512M 333mhz non brand name ram, which I bought from last year. recently, I bought a VIA p4pb and put this ram on it. first, the system can't boot and got some alert BEEP, sound like the power problem or something. I forgot what exactly it beeps...

some1 help? 1.8g@2.4g+, but cant OC when switch to VIA P4PB 400 MB

well, that setting is printed on the manual, but doesn't appear on the bios. too bad I have tried some different setting on the DRAM and can increase the bus speed a little bit(120mhz), but it is very instable. finally, fail I think it maybe the ram's problem(low quality) and the board is...

I recently brought a VIA p4pb MB from Frys. but I cant OC the P4 1.8g over 2G. I can easy OC the 1.8g to 2.4g by just setting the bus speed to 132 in my previous MB-Iwill p4e(845E chipset) with the stock fan, 1 step overlock. and the pc is running very stable. I am sure it can be OC above...
