Dead! HOT! ATI Radeon 9600 Pro 128 MB w/ TV and DVI: 34.00 plus ship

Just got my two cards. It was just bare board without any documentation or software discs. The board say it is the model GV-R9600Pro-C3 Rev.1.0. I went to the Gigabyte website and couldn't find this particular model in their web site. Has anybody figure out where I can find the driver or bios...

This seems like an interesting case. A couple of questions: - If I want to sit the case sideways, do I need to buy special CD-ROM? Since the CDROM is sitting sideways (or vertical), how do I put CDs into the CD-ROM? - I was thinking about puting an AMD XP2000+ in it, would the 230W power supply...

Thanks for the deal. Really like the 80mm fan. But 6A for 12 volt and 10A for 5 volt? Can it power an AMD XP, 120G Hard drive, and a ATI 9200? Anybody experienced with a mATX power supply?

I am in hog-heaven now. Thanks to all the posters in this thread. I figured out the VCD and remote things. YES, it plays VCD. It flickers badly before. But once I changed the setting from Auto to NTSC, it plays beautifully. As a matter of fact, the picture quality is even better than the JVC...

Hey, thaanks for the deal. I took a chance and is very satisfied. But it is not perfect. I has a large collection of SVCD disks (from recording TV shows into CDR disks). It plays great (480x480 @2800kbps, 480x360 @2000kbps, 360x288 @1350kbps). It also plays DVD great. Now the not so good...

JVC Progressive-Scan DVD Player $45 a.r. (dead)

Not to thread crap, but I bought a JVC XV-S500 a year ago. It is progressive scanned also. It played DVD fine. But I have a lot of SVCD disks that I recored from TV directly. It won't play any of them except a few. It has to get the bit rate just right. Right now, this DVD player is in a box...

Just got HOTTER!! Apex GB-4308 43" TV - $449.99 A/R, Apex GB-5108 51" Projection TV - $799.99

jvmitche1, Your argument would have make some sense if we are talking about cars, but we are talking about a TV. I would be either buying an Apex (China) or Sony or Panasonic (Japan but made in China), or Samsung (Korea). O.k., maybe GE is an option, but their TVs are made in China also. So...

Radeon 9100 for $39 after rebate

edplayer, I have the 128M Visiontek AGP card. It came with a white box and a driver cd. That's it, no accessories, no free games, etc. By the way, I think I will stop by CompUSA tomorrow to check out this deal. I may need the TV out version for a computer I am going to build for my living room...

Thanks for the pointer. From the web site, it says it is manufactured by ATI themselves (that is a plus, right?). I don't think ATI makes 64bit-pipelined 9100. However, if I am wrong, please let me know as soon as possible. I might still have time to canceled the order.

I think 9100 is the same as the regular 8500? I don't think you can find 9100 at this low price anywhere especially for a 128M one. It is from TigerDirect. I never had trouble with TD, but then I never had to return anything to them. Oh, the price is after a 20 rebate. They also have a TI4200...
