CompUSA Grand Opening!!! (Utica, MI)

Oh man these things are great. At a grand opening near me last year they gave away like $25k worth of free stuff. I got a free maxtor 200GB drive (5400RPM, 2MB Cache). then returned it to another compusa for $295 store credit to help buy my college computer!

ABIT IS7 Chipset Fan Too Loud?

If you wanna replace it with the newer Abit NB fan, here is the solution. Otherwise you can get passive heatsinks such as Zalman's offering. I'm not sure how much quieter the newer Abit fan is though. Hope this helps!

Well, i just tried to update the firmware to 120E from 110E on my MagicSpin, and it claimed it errored. But according to Nero's "choose recorder" screen, the firmware was 120E... and now HD-Burn works. so yay!

Creig, firmware 130E will not work on IO magic / magic spin drives, the 130E is for original Optorites only. however, Accesstek has a 130I firmware, which is for OEM optorite drives, such as our IO magic / magic spin drives. BUT it will disable HD Burn according to multiple sources...

ATC-110 ATC-111 The ATC-110 has 1 more 3.5 drive bay compared to the ATC-111, it can take an "extended mobo," its slightly larger (look at the front fan mesh grill area and you can sorta see) and the 110 is heavier.
