Help! Barton 2500+ not stable running prime95

I dont really trust prime95 as I've heard conflicting reports.. anyway for stability test I just run superpi, cpu-z and 3dmark2001 or 2003 all at once for a couple hours. My steppings are: AXDA2500KV4D Z342247240051 AQZFA 0340SPMW

I just built my rig 2 days ago and I'm still in testing mode... but here's wat i have so far: 223x9.5 = 2120 @1.775 vcore, 1.744 actual on MBM5. synched memory, timings 2-3-3-11 @2.7vdimm, 2.75 actual on MBM5 idle cpu temps = 38C Ran SuperPI 1M: 46seconds 3dmark 2001SE: 17,347 3dmark 2003: 5667

can't do anything for 1 min. after logging on xp

I just built this system 2 days ago. Im running in dual channel. It started happening right after I installed a fresh winxp.

can't do anything for 1 min. after logging on xp

This is really annoying me.. Windows XP loads, then I log in. After it finishes loading my settings or watever it loads, i cant start any application until I wait like a minute or two. For example, right after I log in, i double click winamp. Nothing happens until a minute later. Wierd thing...

It doesn't have to say "dual channel" for it to work as dual channel.

How much memory?

I work with many applications, so the more the ram, the merrier. I also multi-task alot with multiple internet explorer windows, photoshop, dreamweaver, flash, and director sometimes open all at once because I have to do alot of importing, testing, etc.. i also game sometimes but dunno the diff...

Southbridge cooling: necessary?

Hello, I have an Abit nf7-s and I was wondering if I needed some kind of cooling setup for the southbridge. I've heard somewhere that it helps when you raise the vcore voltages.
