How does nVidia's SoundStorm audio controller compare to SB Audigy?

The issue concerning dfi warranty has been resolved, the poster stating that there was no warranty on their boards was wrong, and apparently they have 30day reseller, and 1 year total.

8RDA+ - IDE devices will not power up when IDE cable is connected.
