Mic problems w/FIC AU13 Mobo

I just installed a new FIC AU13 and took out my santa cruz souncard because I was tod the onboard sound waas great, I can plug my headphones in my speaker jack and get sound through them, but i can't seem to get my mic to work. I've plugged it into various jacks, and messed with the nvidia...

Am I getting a decent deal?

FIC AU-13 w/Nforce chipset and Crush something 2500+ AMD barton core Radeon 9700 pro 2/512 Samsung 400mhz ddr 40gig hard drive 7200 The guy wants $1100 for it all set up in my box and all my existing stuff. Please let me know what you think Thanks,

Wow, I would think you'd be more worried about her finding out how much time you spend on this forum, when you are supposed to be working. You had better hope that she doesn't have webtracker or a monitoring system in place where you work. Good luck though.

Gaming LCD Monitors?

If you were to go with the dual monitors while playing games like Ghost Recon, or Medal of Honor, does it improve the area that you can see, or is it the same, just bigger?

I didn't mean to open up the can of worms intel vs AMD. It's just that I play MOHO and Ghost Recon type games and know that AMD is compatable, it seems as if years ago I had problems with a pentium, and I can get more with the money I have to go AMD. I guess I'm going to consider the 9800 pro...
