s-video to component ?????????

You can get two types of cables to (a) convert S-video to component (Y, Pb, Pr) video (three RCA jacks at end) or (b) convert S-video to composite video (one RCA jack at end) You can get them at Radio Shack for around $15-30 CDN. Both were six footers I believe.

I am sure the noises are drive mechanical/thermal calibrations of some kind. If anybody could provide a link to a more technical explanation it will be appreciated.

What should i do with my dead HD?

Once I burned a 2.1 GB Quantum SCSI drive in the fire. I put it in the super hot coals and enjoyed the green aluminum flames. The next day I found a small pool of cooled aluminum on the bottom of the fireplace.

Mine make them too, I have 2 x 10K RPM Maxtor Atlas 10K3's. The grinding/ratcheting sound is normal at startup.

A) How well will WindowsXP run on such a machine if I were to include either 256 or 512mb of RAM? B) How well will DVDs play on this P3 500 256mbOR512mb system ? (Using a software decoder) C) For a Music system, is the Creative Labs PCI64 sufficient? I plan on buying her decent quality 2.1...

How to clean my tupperware (avoid soapy taste)

Anyone care to share how they clean their tupperware? I don't have a dishwasher, and the soapy taste in my rice or noodles is hard to get out of the tupperware! Thanks!
