Not sure how else to get there. You said it wouldnt work when you tried to choose it during startup?
Might be a device conflict with SP2. You could try removing some of your pci cards as a last resort to maybe get it to start enough to...

When I installed Service Pack 2 I got the blue screen and instant reboot every time I tried to start my computer. Started in safemode and uninstalled it by doing a system restore now everything works fine.
I got a BFG 6800 GT and did the 1.4v volt mod and my "check optimal frequencies" went from
385/1.04 to 419/1.09

Thanks. I used the 1.4 volt version with the stock BFG bios. Mine went to 418/ 1.07 optimal testing in coolbits. That is a nice improvement. I will try the 1.5 version after I see what the 1.4 can do.

When I run detect optimal frequencies I get Core 395 and Mem 1.04
These seem a little low. I know many people run these at Ultra speeds. I tried running mine at 404 and 1.10 and get slight artifacts and occasional lockups in Doom.
