I have this MB with a 2500 Barton and a WD Raptor HD on SATA--ran up to 220[11x220] with Corsair3200 and no problems--for the SATA a definite improvement over my previous Epox on PCI SATA.
The only problem is when I switch to overvolt, it works up to 1.80 and that gives me a 1.96 total...
Check your credit card for the charges---Dell charged full price with no $20 discount---emailed them for correction---hope it's just a clerical error!

Try this:
Reflash 0307,then load "setup default", then reflash 0515 and see if that corrects the problem--this procedure most times corrects it-good luck!

I got my "AMD 1.4 AYHJA-Y" chip from PCDIRECTSOURCE--seems that's all they have in stock---call & talk to Howard to check! Paid a little more but I got the exact chip I wanted, shipped same day, good service, & I got the chip next day UPS [I'm in the same zone]---I'm not...
Charles,
Forgot to mention that I'm using an IBM 60GXP hd and I've been able to run at 160 Cas 2/2/2, PCI at 40 with no data corruption at all--at 157 that I'm at now, the PCI is at 39 and running fine---Also, I "always" use a mirror backup HD for protection---thanks for your concern...
Trekin,
I tried each joystick one at at time--first the Microsoft and no go--pulled it off and installed the Logitech and still a no go--anyone with any further suggestions would be appreciated as I'm really stumped!!

I enabled the onboard sound/joystick on my KK266 with all the latest updated drivers--sound works fine, no problems [gladly gave up SB Live, deleted all reference to SB in reg,etc.]--tried 2 different joysticks [Microsoft Sidewinder Pro-Logitec Wingman]-both say they're not connected--tried all...
Downloaded "Turbo" file and it's not in a proper format--it's in a BIN config and won't work in it's present form--if anyone knows of a different site for the bios, please post--thanks!

Robstv,
It would be better, if your cpu can run at 1450 and you have the proper ram, to run at 153x9.5=1453--your PCI=38.25 and your AGP=76.50--faster all around including memory scores!!

Sorry about the late post-anyway, I flashed the new bios and it DEFINETELY made my system "more" stable on what I feel is one of the best MB's I've ever owned--JMHO!!

1.Fixed system hang up during copying data sometimes.
2.Added to support lower voltage for furture processor.
3.Added to support the max freq to 200MHz.

Complex,
With this new bios update, the KK266 now becomes equal in speed to the others with great reliability to boot as this MB has proven to me---highly recommend this MB for speed, OC and stability!!!

If above link doesn't work-- try here instead---works great on my KK266--a big improvement on memory scores from orig. bios and equal to Turks OC Bios with added benefits! Scoll down page at "Fullon3d" to locate.

Id3dwiz,
I'm thinking of getting this monitor also and was wondering how clear and define is the text at say 768x1024 at 85HZ'S? Is the text as sharp in the corners as at the center---obviously text clarity at all points on the screen is VERY important to me--thanks!

It's really no big deal--On my Iwll KK266 and 1200 Thinderbird[Thanks DaddyG], all I did to get it to boot was close one bridge on the L6 with defogger kit which set it to 11x ,lowered multiplier to 9 and it booted right up---1st boot was at 1463[11x133] and then bios changed to 9x---great...
I tried DaddyG's advice on my 1200 Thunderbird and made sure all the L6 bridges were connected w/defogger kit and it worked for me on my Iwill KK266-- able to boot at 133 and up to 165 where it wouldn't before--the funny thing at 150 and beyond with Cas 2,Turbo Memory settings, the MB only saw 1...
I have a similiar problem on my Iwill KK266--have 2x128MB's Mushkins Rev2 sticks--when overclocking at Cas2 at 150 bus and everything set to turbo in memory, I get a reading of only 128MB'S---when I change it to Cas3 and Turbo, all 256MB's appears---only slightly lower in memory scores---try...
Great cases--love my SX830---the WORST customer service I've ever dealt with---mine came with one fan adapter missing and emailed CS 10x times and never had a responce.
For those of you that have the Iwill KK266, I just flashed the Turk's overclocking Bios with all the additional memory timings and everything went smoothly---it makes a difference in how everything responds.
Coming from the MSI PRO2A, I'm impressed by the "speed and stability" of this...
Venemous,
Thanks--the problem seems to be with the CPU's above 1000[10x133=1330-well within the chips capabilities]---when moving to 1100's or 1200 as mine is, you run into problems of no boot[12x133=1596]-hence the no boot no matter what I do---any suggestions on how to fix this or just wait...
I just received a Iwill KK266 MB for my existing "unlocked" 1200 that's been running fine in my Pro2A [can lower and raise multiplier at will]---my problem is it won't boot once I set the MB to 133 even after lowering the miltiplier to 7 or 7-1/2 or 8---nothing at all---using Mushkins...
