Big fan of Antec cases these past years. Very large and sturdy, lots of airflow and room. No removable mobo tray, but I think there overrated anyway. "Blue Fantasy" was built upon the 1000 AMG. Screaming deal for $68
1000 AMG Antec
Greetings all, been awhile since I posted here. Been pretty busy with things, but I finally finished my newest project "Blue Fantasy" So without further ado, here she is.......

Im not a fan of ASUS cooling systems, they run hotter then even stock HSF setups. The 5900ultra ran ungoldy hot I decided I woudln't buy it, which is a good thing because later that week, the whole "ATI beats sh1t outa NVIDIA on HL2" came around. I ordered my ATI 9800XT through ATI and Im dying...
Oh ok, so the peeps who play games 24/7 and compete in championships to win prize money to upgrade their computers and barely manage to squeek by on a meger budget and fail to have a meaning in their lives are who your we are talking about then? Well, fortuantly for most of us, we have a life...
Guess im just not a Halo whore like you are. Half Life whore, yes thats what I am. XBox ports? No. If your kicking the 9800XT down for Halo, be sure to kick the 5900 ultra down for not running Tomb Raider or Half Life 2 worth a damn.
Im not a fan of that cooling system, its near the equivalent of the 5900 one and cooling is horrid with those low speed fas. And the orange PCB is a definite "no no" in my book. I ordered the stanard 9800XT
The cables are the same, but the front panel PCB board is not. My 1080 was 1.1, but the 1000AMG ship with USB 2.0 now. I didn't get one and I politely asked over email if I could have one. Antec shipped me one free of charge within a few days! I love those guys! Ask em and the'll send one to...
Ummm scuze me, but Im running a 4200 here that im really getting tired of due to it will not longer play games decently from my perspective. I only paid $178 and OC'ed to near 4400 speeds, so I saved some cash for a year up until now . The last time I paid full bore for a new card was the...
Yep, now Im definently glad I waited that looooooong extra week. From what i've been seeing, I personally feel justified in spending $500 for a video card to round off my new P4 setup. Those of you may greatly disagree or have many reasons why this 9800xt is a joke, a ripoff or simply have more...
I've moved my system around with the 700CU, and I have no worries. THe P4 HSF mounting system is awesome, so I don't worry about weight. If its an athlon, then yeah, get the ALU version.
Nope, the shield is well grounded all the way through. Very odd. When I had my Athlon setup, it didn't make the sound, but with my new P4 setup, it does. And it doesn't have to be the mouse, if I use the keyboard to scroll, it also makes the sound.
Nope I keep my case immaculate, I always dust the inside frequently. Im almost postive its the PSU, but maybe maybe the HDD, but Just know it has to be the PSU.
Ok, hopefully you guys can give me some incite into this. Recently I finished building my new machine below, sans the 9800ati for the moment, as im still waiting for the XT launch next week.
Anyway, ive noticed something very bizarre from my PSU since I finished my new P4 setup. When im surfing...
I had a Koolance EXOS and it fried within 5 minutes of turning it on. Total waste of time and money. I just air cool my P4 with my Zalman 7000 and I couldn't be happier.
Got mine at frozencpu.com. Real easy and works well. My first one the damn pin broke right off 5 months later, but frozencpu sent me a new one free of charge. I created a custom made badge in Photoshop for it, looks really good.

I installed one over a year ago when I bought my GF4 4200. The stock cooler on it was complete ass. It was a total bitch to get it off. I trying freezing it, prying it, twisting it. The only thing that worked was chiseling it off with a hammer and screwdriver.
After scrapping off the core...
Hmmmm, so just silicon to hold it in place? One prob I forsee is I don't think my my folks will go for heating a piece of plastic in the oven, so i'll have to find some other route to bend it. Hate to loose my badge light, so I might have to rethink my attempt on this..
Wow, nice dilbert! I might have to do something like that as im really sick of opening my door everytime I want to check my temps on my Digidoc. How did you manage to cut the plastic nice and smooth and mount the plexi? Very impressive, I give you a hardy pat on the back from a fellow Antec...
No, I meant that if you installed 120mm intake fan on the side panel, the pressure off that would create a "push and shove" war between the front intakes. Basically the airflow from both would collide and you woudln't get any airflow as the air would be trying to escape out of the front...
Bout the only thing better is add a 120mm intake fan on the side panel and do away with the front intakes. Other then that, the case is well built stock wise for cooling.
