help msn wont shut off, even when im not signed in.

Should be easy but no one seems to know. MSN

thanks for the reply. yes I did change the jumper setting My basic problem is that all the info and partitions worked fine when I booted 1st time and then next time they just vanished. Got any ideas as to why this would happen?

thanks for the reply but if you read properly you will see that both OS systems were on different hard drives. I was just swapping the hard drives around. Shouldnt have been a problem. You cant actually change the boot order if one of them is on a slave drive. You can only change the boot order...

im confused with your answer, If it is a damaged MBR then the operating system wouldnt boot up. But that has nothing to do with the problem. The problem is the Bios wont recognise the size of the hard drive and disk managment shows no partitions where there should be heaps. I am leaning towards...
