Uh-oh, PSU problem?

Ok now the 3.3v rail is back up to ~3.16v.. still a little low but not like the 2.94 before. I'll try HL2 and see if I still have the problem.

Uh-oh, PSU problem?

The 12v rail is at 12.1v, so there's really no problem there. The consistent lack of voltage on the +3.3v seems to be the only problem with voltages. All others report nominal values. I also don't seem to have this problem in other games, like World of Warcraft.. maybe the card's pixel shader...

Uh-oh, PSU problem?

I've been using my 9800NP for a while, usually cranking it up to about Pro speeds (though the memory couldn't handle exactly Pro) when I enter a game. This worked perfectly fine, I thought it was a stable overclock. Then I stopped, figuring it wasn't healthy, and just played with default clocks...

Ugh, now this is starting to piss me off. The Corsair XMS3200 GB kit I just bought works EVEN LESS than the Kingston HyperX PC3500 I bought a while back. The HyperX wasn't stable at 208MHz (260FSB) but it would boot. The Corsair won't even post, at SPD timings of 2.5-8-3-3. Current setup...

Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 (7200RPM) Question

I figured out it was the cable just after I posted, but thanks, lol. Now I'm using one of the IDE cables that came with my IS7 and the transfer is up to UDMA-5 or ATA/100 I'm guessing. The cable should support 133 as do the HDD and the motherboard. Any ideas on why it's not running that fast...

Maxtor DiamondMax Plus 9 (7200RPM) Question

The max supported transfer mode for both the HDD and my Abit IS7's IDE controller is UDMA-6, but currently it's only running in UDMA-2. Does anyone know where I can find options to modify this? I've throughly checked the BIOS and Windows options for the HDD.

Yeah, I checked the device manager and it was still listed on the PCI bus. Do all boards naturally fluctuate their voltages? I'm watching Hardware Doctor and my vcore is going up to 1.54, down to 1.49, back to 1.54, down to 1.525 (my setting) and repeating and my vdimm is dipping between 2.83...

Nah, no other memory. I just eliminated my previous theory.. I set timings to 3-8-4-4 and ratio to 5:4, but when I went back into the BIOS after it didn't post, both the timings and the ratio were off manual and back at By SPD. I'm thinking it's trying to run the memory 1:1 for some godforsaken...

Alright. I updated to BIOS 1.6. The flash went beautifully. By upping the vdimm to 2.8v, I was able to lower my vcore back to default 1.525v at the same settings I was running before (260fsb). I also disabled the last 2 GAT settings in the BIOS. However, try as I may, I cannot get these PC3500...
