you've never seen windows 2000 like this before

check this out guys, its jaw droppingly awesome, its a web-based windows 2000 lookalike if this is possible, I wouldn't be surprised if Google has something similiar in the works. *Best viewed with IE 6 and below, tried it with the new IE7 and Opera, doesn't work as well, don't know about...

microsoft intellitype drivers

i'm not sure which version I need. I'm hoping someone who has the intelliremote software working with logitech keyboards could give me some help. I know version 5 doesn't work as I tried it.

anybody here have a logitech keyboard and have gotten the intelliremote program to work ? when I install the intellitype software from microsoft that is needed by intelliremote, it wants to uninstall my iTouch software. any help ?

right after i made the previous, post, i found a very useful program that is a plugin for winamp its called RM-X http://www.darkain.com/rmx/download.php for those looking to control winamp with the creative remote, i think this is a good choice. it doesn't need that intellitype program

does the intelliremote thing only work with microsoft keyboards ? I downloaded the mircrosoft intellitype driver but could not install, it keep saying some error at the end of the installation. any help ?

anybody tried ati silencer 4 on a 9800xt ?

Hi guys, just wondering if anybody know if I can put an ati silencer 4 on a 9800xt ? or did anybody try that before ? reason is that i can get silencer 4 for 10 bucks but silencer 3 is 15 bucks. what is the difference between these different versions anyway ?

Any thoughts on Samsung DVD drives?

they are decent.. they are loudest when they spin up, then they quiet down.. had one incident with it once where it wouldn't read the dvd but cd's are ok, restarted the comp twice, then it was ok.. don't know what caused it.. but they are good..

Game progamming jobs suck this much?

I worked at a software company for the past summer and I find that the company has this philosophy where "this is your responsibility and I don't care how you get it done, just get it done" This ends up in programmers often working past 5, up till 7 almost everyday and if its "crunch time"...

Do D-Link routers suck?

I have a D-Link wireless G router and it works great for me. Been using it for a year and everybody is connected. Didn't compare the speeds to a Linksys, but the connection's rock solid.

Anybody have problems with the new ATI Catalyst 4.12 drivers ?

my 9800xt's stock fan is so loud, is it normal ?

I've had this powercolor 9800xt for a while, bought it refurbished from newegg and I find it increasingly annoying that the fan on the stock heatsink is making a loud humming noise. Is it normal that it is so loud ? I've had a 9500pro before and the stock fan wasn't that loud.

No Picture on Monitor!

do you hear the bios beep ? the motherboard should have a little speaker that will beep when the bios starts If it doesn't beep, see if your processor is put in properly. Happened to me before when I didn't put the processor in properly.

I bent a pin on my p4, will it affect performance ?

logitech z-5300 .. anything better for the price?

i own a set of the 5300 and they are great haven't had a chance to hear the 680 and the 5500 but for the price.. 5300 is great... and i got them for 150 from newegg.. guess the price went up..
