    I've had this set since Black Friday last year. I got it for $849 shipped and it was well worth the money. DVD is beautiful over component, and my S-video DirecTivo picture is respectable. If you adjust down the backlight, the black levels are nice. No dead pixels BTW.

    I didn't try an overclock on this since it is only a HTPC and I don't plan to game on it. Newegg had a microATX 300W Fortron PS for about $40 if you start having problems on overclock. Inwin typically has conservatively rated PS so you might be OK.

    I have to agree. After buying that 9100 and getting the same response from them (store credit only) when it had massive artifacts at the Windows 2000 desktop I'll stick to buying new things from Crucial and stay away from the refurbs.

    The manufacturers recommend shipping them in an anti-static bag with at least an inch of foam around them to protect them. That is usually how they are shipped to me, and how I send them RMA back to the manufacturer, but as noted above, it varies by reseller.

    I recently bought a 9100 Crucial Refurb and it has artifacts. Be aware that if you return it, they will only give you store credit minus the shipping. I've never had any problems with any new Crucial products.
