So I'm in a bit of a quandary. First some background:
I graduated last year with degrees in Computer and Electrical Engineering (undergrad). I had done some web development for a small design company while in school and I got a job offer from a different company (utility industry) for a web...
So it turns out that there are two types of DVI ports - ones that support analog (DVI-I) and ones that dont (DVI-D). Which means that I'm probably going to want to just go with component to D-Sub (15-pin analog)
Can anyone corroborate this?
So I found this:

Wondering if anyone has experience with something like that and if it would work?
A TV tuner would be a simple answer. But I'm looking for something more too. What I'd really like is an adaptor that would take component in and get DVI out. (specifically in anticipation of the Wii) Is there an easy way of doing this? Or should I stick with an S-Video to DVI/Analog converter?
Just ordered one!
Was cheaper shipping earlier in the day, upped it to 5 bucks now its still a good deal I think.

If your primary useage is going to be Mixing and encoding audio, I would take a second look at the Pentium 4. Looking at benchmarks, the P4 is generally better and encoding and decoding media.

Yeah, the 390T is the newest version of the 190T. Looks like they mostly just changed the styling. I think this is the one I'm going to go with, read lots of great reviews about it.

I've been looking for something similar to this as well. I would prefer a small flash device over an iPod. So far, the Samsung yepp 55V and the iRiver 390T are the two Im looking at.
Comments, suggestions?
Thanks
The biggest reason you would want a job is the money. Face it, most of the time there are many other things that can give you much better experience than some crappy part time job. (Despite the fact that my part time job kicks ass (flexible, good pay etc), its still not good for much other...
Gonna suck if we lose power here, in Raleigh. Good luck weathering out the storm! I would reccomend candles and flashlights, and some food that needs little preperation. Oh, and empty out your fridge just in case ;)
