    Thanks. Though I get the sense you are saying that the bread can either be allowed to cycle through a 60-minute keep warm session or not - it doesn't matter. As long as it sits 3 - 6 hours or so. I think that's what you're saying, but I'll try the "unplug" route and see what happens...

    Sorry - could you expound on that a little? We have a Breadman and there is a Knead, Rise, Bake, and Warm cycle, based on the read-out. Are you implying that I should unblug it after the "Bake" cycle? Another point of interest is that our bread takes 3.5 hours using the default cycles.

    The drive in the link has an 8MB buffer, so are you describing the same drive as is currently available? I ordered last night while the rebate was still good, but if the drive is truly going to fail rather quickly I might wish to cancel my order.

    Well, I owned this exact same card a month ago. It was idling at 60C, which was unacceptable. I ended up returning it, and with some prodding Newegg waived the restocking fee. Maybe I'm a prude, but the max i would like the card to idle at is probably mid-40C. Could be I got a lemon, though.

    I did think about the Westinghouse. However, I just didn't like what I was reading about it at AVS Forums vs the Syntax. Don't remember the details or anything. Figured my just-purchased-TV is going to be my second tV in 2-4 years, 1080p really wasn't a huge deal.
