Which hard drive would you go with?

I've got a 20GB IBM and it runs fast and quiet. Maxtor's are also a good choice. I would go with whichever was the cheaper of those two.

Abit BE-6 II / ATA66 Controller problems

I had similar problems trying to use the drivers from the supplied disk. My advice -- Don't use them. Grab the latest drivers from http://www.highpoint-tech.com and use them instead. Hope that helps!

So, are you saying that if the burner is the master with no DMA, then it won't use DMA, even if the CD-ROM (as slave) does have DMA checked?

Diablo2 and Win ME...does it work?

I don't know how much help I can be here, but my friend just installed WinME recently and it does work with Diablo II. He did, however, have to download some new drivers for his video card before it would work. All I can suggest is make sure you've got the newest drivers.
